Hands-On with the New MacBook

Congrulation!!!
Now We can get to play with the new MacBook. The first thing I noticed was “Where is the touchpad button?” The all-glass touchpad is new which introduced into the new sleek MacBook. However, when you press down on the touchpad, it actually feels like a button, you could hear the sound as if you are pressing the button. Also for Windows users, there is a setting to set an area of the touchpad to serve as a right-click with a single tap.

It weights about 4.5 pounds, still impressive because it is not made out of cheap plastic. The casing is sturdy with the edge-to-edge glass 13.3 inch screen. If you want a lighter one, get MacBook Air and pay lots more.

Here’s something new. I found a mystery button on the side with no label, and initially I thought it is a button to turn the Airport on/off. It was actually a new button that activates an LED battery meter that tells you how much juice you have left without having to turn on the system or open the lid! That’s awesome!
